Deboset bridge dominates in Argostoli bay with its size almost reaches 700 meters length while it’s considered to be the longest stone bridge throughout the whole Europe. The bridge was initially wooden and by 1813 it connected Argostoli with the opposite region (bank- place). While crossing the pedestrian bridge you will see a monument in a shape of a pyramid which is a tribute to the manufacturers. The bridge is illuminated and it’s appropriate for walking or cycling. It’s worth walking till the end of it and enjoy the view of Argostoli from across.
